Speaking
Fen is the lead lecturer on an upcoming DVD series on the polar regions for The Great Courses. He will deliver 12 of the course’s 24 lectures, speaking about topics ranging from the exploration of Antarctica to the importance of sea ice to polar marine ecosystems. The Great Courses series, which will be released in 2015 and will also feature three academic experts, is a collaborative project with National Geographic.
Fen lectures about Antarctica for National Geographic Expeditions, speaking on cruises run by Lindblad aboard the National Geographic Explorer. Fen also has lectured for National Geographic Expeditions on its private train trips on the Trans-Siberian Railway. In the summer of 2015, Fen will be the Global Perspectives speaker on a 17-day National Geographic/Lindblad cruise to Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland.
Fen speaks to organizations and schools about climate change, the global environment, and Antarctica.
